Parsha Lech Lecha – a Command – Go Forth!

The parsha Lech Lecha starts with a Command from the Lord – Go Forth! It moved Abram out of his home town into a new life. Abram was not a kid anymore. He was 75 years old, and made some big changes in his life. This was likely a very scary event for Abram.

People generally do not like changes. We are change-averse. For most of us, we would rather face a boring, even damaging life, than make any changes.

So change is hard! Here are some things you could do:

Get out of your comfort zone. Do something, change something. Make a difference! Make some changes in your life. Make new friends. Read a book outside your box. Take time to think and meditate. Take a walk down a different street.

You can down load the notes and get a study group together to enjoy digging into Torah!
