When Moses [and the Israelites] had finished the work, the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the Presence of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. … Over the Tabernacle the cloud of the Lord rested by day, and fire would appear IN IT by night. The Creation, the Tabernacle and the Temple are parallel archetypes of the Presence of the Lord among us. In latter times, the original Jewish followers of Yeshua of Nazareth were filled with the spirit of the Lord (Acts 2), another parallel of the Presence of the Lord among us. So what are we to do today? Can we too live our lives with the Presence of the Lord among us?
Can the light of G~d shine in you like it did from within the Tabernacle? If mankind, every one of us, are made in the image of G~d, maybe we can be filled with the Presence of G~d, and be messengers of the good news of G~d, and be repairers of the great tear in the Creation which separates us from G~d in so many big and small ways.
